I’m not an expert on this, but I do read a lot of blogs. First of all, I think it’s great you have a purpose - you’re not just planning to ramble on about your day to day thoughts. Always make the purpose of your blog abundantly clear – in the introduction and in the actual articles. I’d also recommend formulating some kind of schedule (whether you plan to write once a day, once a week or once a month) and choosing “themes”. For example, you could start by writing a series of articles on what it is like actually organizing yourself and moving to a new country. You could then progress to first impressions of the country, how disability-friendly the infrastructure is, how receptive the local people are, what challenges you have encountered, where you have found help, etc. Try and keep it methodical and logical in order. Finally, be yourself – don’t try and be super funny if you’re not, don’t try and sound Oxford-educated if you’re not. I’d recommend getting a close friend or family member to proof read your articles before you send post them and ask for feedback on whether or not they can picture you saying what you’ve written.
