If you are having trouble making video calls with Facebook, there could be a number of things wrong.
If you are attempting to make a video call from your cellular device, you may not have the appropriate type of application that supports video calling. You can install Facebook messenger on your cell phone, but in order to video call, you will more than likely need to install the Facebook video chat app, which is different from messenger.
Also, you can’t video call on Facebook because you simply don’t have a camera installed on your computer. Even if this is the case you will be able to use Facebook video call. However, you will only be able to see and hear your friends, but they will not be able to see you.
If the connection that you are using is too slow to support the video call, this could be why you are unable to successfully use the application. This is easily fixed by determining whether you have a good wireless connection and if you don’t, connect directly with your router to make the connection more stable. Also close all other applications on your computer that may be using the internet. The same goes for your cellular device if you are attempting to use it for Facebook video calling.
