Christians believe that when their body dies and later on buried or cremated, the soul lives on and join with the God. Jesus is known to have risen from the dead three days after the crucifixion, giving hope to Christians that following his teaching, i.e. the Bible, and accepting him as the Lord and Saviour, then resurrection in life would await them. Being born as a human and then dying, Jesus made the life after death possible for everyone else. In John 11:25-26, “Jesus said, ‘I am the ressurection and the life.’ He who believes in me will live, even though he dies.’” Another in John 3:16 states that “God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” There you have it, the death of Jesus opens up the path for the believers to be with God.
